GB Call-Up for Josh

Brentwood Trampoline is proud to report that Josh Newman has been selected to represent Great Britain in both individual and synchronized events at the upcoming World Cup competition in Sofia.  With this selection the club continues with its long tradition of producing British representatives for trampolining with Josh being the 6th club member to be called up by GB since Paul Kitchen became head coach.

Paul commenting on the selection said that Josh was a worthy representative for Great Britain having excelled recently in Loulé and again this past weekend where he won an Open competition against older and higher qualified gymnasts.

Note for editors:  World Cup for trampolining is a series of international competitions throughout the competition season with both senior & junior events taking place.  The recent Loulé competition was the first of the season with Josh winning as part of a Brentwood Trampoline.  This competition in Sofia is the first of the year to which GB is sending a full Senior & Junior squad.  Josh is a member of the junior squad of of 14, comprising 7 boys and 7 girls in 3 different age groups.
